Post 2667 Commander Don Herr honored students at Lee Middle School with awards earned by students who participated in the National VFW Patriot’s Pen Essay Contest.  They completed a 300-400 word essay based on the theme this year “How are you inspired by America?”  Essays are judged on knowledge of the theme, theme development and clarity of ideas.

Lee Middle School Winners are:
1st Place Susie Park
2nd Place Harper Mesiah
3rd Place Lillian Cantrell

These students each received a certificate and an engraved medal.
