Auxiliary Singing Contest Winner

Eden Osabutey entered the VFW Post 2667 Auxiliary’s Get Excited for the Red, White, and Blue! singing competition
where she had to submit her video entry singing the National Anthem this past school year. She was a 13-year-old 7th Grader at Bass Middle School competing in the category of Grades K-8.

Eden was the First Place Winner for the Post.

She honored us by singing the National Anthem at the Memorial Day Ceremony at Veterans Park. After this performance, she was invited to sing the National Anthem at the Georgia Department of Veteran Service’s Women and Diversity Team Gala in Macon.

At the VFW Department Convention in June, Eden won 1st Place for Grades K-8 at the State Level.

Following her photo in the newspaper about singing for Memorial Day, she was then invited to sing the National
Anthem at this year’s July 4th Fireworks Event at the Fairgrounds in front of thousands.

She received a plaque and a monetary award from the Department at a recent VFW Meeting.

We are honored as a VFW and Auxiliary to be able to showcase our amazing Coweta County students.
