EMT / Paramedic of the Year

Holli E. Dye, EMT/Paramedic at the Coweta County Fire & Rescue Department, is our EMT/Paramedic of the Year for VFW Post 2667-Newnan for her exemplary service to humanity by administering emergency medical assistance. Holli was nominated by Chief Robby Flanagan.

Chief Flanagan noted that she has worked for the department since 2019 and through hard work and dedication to duty, worked all the way from the EMT Basic to the Paramedic level. She is a team-oriented professional, always seeking ways to improve her skills as well as serving as a Field Training Officer, training new recruits in their certification process towards EMT-A. Holli is one of the hardest working professionals in the department. She makes a difference every day in the community.

Holli’s Certifications include Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic, Coweta County Fire and Rescue Field Training Officer Instructor. She has received numerous awards including CC Fire and Rescue Employee of the Quarter in 2021, CC Fire and Rescue Employee of the Year-2021, Multiple Life Saving events, previous Post 2667 EMT of the Year winner, as well as, Star of Life Award in 2023.

Holli was also recognized as the State VFW EMT winner and will be invited to the VFW Mid-Winter Conference in Macon in February to receive her award.
