Students at Madras Middle School participated in the VFW National Patriot’s Pen Essay Contest.

Students wrote a 300-400 word essay based on this year’s theme: How are you inspired by America?” VFW Post 2667 presented the school winner awards to:

1st Place Addison Todd
2nd Place William Harlan
3rd Place Michelle Singh

Students received a certificate and an engraved medal with their name, school and contest info on it.
