VFW Post 2667 Commander Don Herr presented the award to Taylor Linch of Smokey Road Middle School for being the 2nd Place Winner of the Patriot’s Pen Essay Contest for Georgia’s District 10. She received a certificate and a monetary award.

She was recently the 2nd Place Winner at the VFW Post 2667 Level and advanced to District for further judging. Her essay was based on the theme for this year “How are you inspired by America?” VFW District 10 has 7 Posts that submitted entries.
